Deputy Minister of Health and Chief of the General Fire Force Inspect Jaber Hospital to Review Security and Safety Measures

Kuwait City, Aug 25 (KUNA) – Assistant Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah conducted a field inspection today, Tuesday, at Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital to review security and safety protocols and assess the facility’s readiness, accompanied by the Commander of the General Fire Service, Major General Talal Al-Roumi.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Health quoted Sheikh Al-Sabah emphasizing the importance of continuous review of security and safety measures and enhancing readiness across all health facilities.

The ministry noted that the inspection covered various hospital facilities, service areas, and systems related to prevention and safety protocols, with a focus on operational mechanisms and established procedures for handling emergencies. It also assessed the readiness of relevant teams and their response speed, ensuring the safety of patients and staff and the continuity of healthcare services.

During the tour, several technical aspects and measures aimed at strengthening prevention and improving response efficiency in emergency situations were discussed. The ministry underscored the importance of enhancing coordination between the Ministry of Health and the General Fire Service regarding the security and safety of health facilities.
