UAE welcomes US decision to remove Syria from state sponsors of terrorism list

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation for the efforts undertaken by U.S. President Donald Trump to take this step, which it said would open broader horizons for revitalizing the economy, attracting investments, and enhancing Syria’s integration into the global economy, thereby contributing to consolidating security, stability, and prosperity in the country.
