Paris, April 24 (KUNA) -- French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Monday the issuance of a law banning the use of mobile phones in high schools starting from the new academic year. Macron stated in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account that “protecting children from the harmful effects of screen use can no longer wait,” adding that he had approved a law prohibiting mobile phones in high schools from the start of the new academic year, based on a proposal submitted by the committee on screen use.
