France: 2026 Global Investment Summit in Paris to Discuss Artificial Intelligence and Economic Transformation

Paris, September 23 (KUNA) -- The Global Investment Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in the capital city of Paris on September 1 and 2 next year, has unveiled a program featuring specialized sessions that examine the rapid transformations in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and the future application of modern technologies in the real economy.

According to sources from the summit, the agenda for the first day includes a session titled “AI Sovereignty: Building Infrastructure for Strategic Autonomy,” which explores ways to develop independent national capabilities in artificial intelligence and establish the necessary infrastructure, including data centers, energy sources, and computing capacities, thereby enhancing technological sovereignty and supporting the construction of integrated digital systems.

The summit’s agenda also features a session titled “Europe Leading Technology Adoption: AI at Scale in the Real Economy,” focusing on the transition of artificial intelligence from limited pilot projects to widespread applications in manufacturing, services, infrastructure, and supply chains. This shift aims to strengthen AI’s role as a tool for boosting productivity, improving efficiency, and supporting economic growth.

The summit is expected to bring together more than 1,500 participants and approximately 80 speakers, alongside over 10 main sessions, 16 workshops, and more than 40 bilateral meetings, with the participation of officials, investors, business leaders, and economic institutions from various global markets.

The summit serves as a platform for direct dialogue on investment opportunities, building partnerships, and enhancing communication between capital providers and promising sectors. Its agenda extends to cover the most influential issues shaping the future of global capital flows, including technology, artificial intelligence, energy, tourism, real estate, advanced industries, healthcare, and the cultural and creative economy.

The summit will also discuss climate and sustainability issues, which have become increasingly important factors in financing decisions and investor trends. Additionally, new initiatives will be announced in the fields of energy, culture, investment, and technology, targeting projects that support sustainable development and the creative economy.

The summit aims to translate the outcomes of its sessions and workshops into actionable pathways that can be developed into future partnerships and projects, within a vision that seeks to link modern technological developments with investment and economic growth trajectories. It also highlights the transformations reshaping the global economy and the challenges faced by countries and investors in building economies more resilient to technological and financial changes.

Through its program, the Global Investment Summit 2026 seeks to enhance dialogue among investors, policymakers, and experts, and to open new horizons for international cooperation and the development of investment opportunities in sectors expected to serve as key growth drivers in the coming period.
