(Ministry of Justice): 154 drugs traded in a week worth KD 9.2 million
Kuwait City, August 23 (KUNA) -- Statistics released today by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice showed that 154 real estate contracts were traded during the week from August 9 to 13, with a total value of approximately 92.2 million Kuwaiti dinars (around $304 million).
According to the statistics published on the ministry’s website, private real estate contracts led the market with 101 contracts valued at 36.2 million dinars (around $120 million), followed by investment real estate contracts in second place with 52 contracts valued at 36 million dinars (around $118.8 million). Commercial real estate transactions came in third, with a single contract valued at 20 million dinars (around $66 million).
The statistics indicated that real estate contract transactions were distributed as follows: 11 private real estate contracts, one investment real estate contract, and one commercial real estate contract in the Capital Governorate. In Hawalli Governorate, 19 private real estate contracts and nine investment contracts were traded. Al-Farwaniyah Governorate saw 11 private real estate contracts and three investment contracts.
Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate recorded eight private real estate contracts, while Ahmadi Governorate saw 39 private real estate contracts and 39 investment contracts. Al-Jahra Governorate recorded 13 private real estate contracts. (End) F.N.K. / A.M.H.
