Palestinian Boy Martyred by Israeli Occupation Fire in South West Bank
Ramallah, August 21 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday that a Palestinian youth was martyred by settlers’ gunfire north of the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank. The ministry said in a statement that the 17-year-old youth, Karim Shalaldeh, was martyred by settlers’ bullets during their attack on the town of Sa’ir, north of Hebron. According to local Palestinian sources, settlers attacked citizens’ homes and fired live ammunition at residents, resulting in the martyrdom of the youth and injuring a 70-year-old man. Earlier, the General Authority for Civil Affairs confirmed in a press statement on Friday morning that Fathi Khazem, 58, died from injuries sustained from occupation gunfire in the city of Jenin, and that his body was detained.
