Deputy Minister of Health Inspects Health Centers in Al-Mutla' Area to Assess Service Levels and Ensure They Meet Residents' Needs

Kuwait City, August 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait’s Undersecretary of Health, Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection tour today, Thursday, of several health centers in the Mutlaa area to monitor operations, assess the level of services provided, and evaluate their alignment with the growing health needs of the area’s residents.

The Ministry of Health said in a press release that the Undersecretary inspected a number of clinics, departments, and support services during the tour, and reviewed patient flow, appointment booking and scheduling mechanisms, and service delivery pathways.

He listened to briefings from officials and health staff on consultation rates, the nature of services provided, and key operational needs. He also met with several patients, listening to their feedback and experiences regarding the services received.

The Undersecretary discussed with medical, technical, and administrative officials and staff ways to enhance the operational efficiency of the centers, support their staffing and equipment needs, and optimize the use of available resources, thereby strengthening the capacity of primary health care facilities to respond to rising demand for services.

The statement quoted the Undersecretary emphasizing the importance of field monitoring as a practical tool for directly identifying needs and challenges and working to address them, thereby improving the quality of health care and the patient experience.

He stressed the importance of aligning the expansion of health services with the population and urban growth in Mutlaa and new residential areas, through continuous planning based on actual needs, to enhance access to health care and ensure the sustainability of service quality and efficiency.
