Food Authority: Drafted 42 seizure and violation reports on food establishments in Hawalli Governorate

Kuwait City, August 20 (KUNA) — The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, through its inspection department in Hawalli Governorate, conducted an inspection tour of several food establishments in the governorate, resulting in the issuance of 42 violation and seizure reports. These violations included expired health licenses, non-compliance with health certificates for workers, breaches of health and hygiene standards, and the transportation of food items without proper permits.

In a press statement, the Authority clarified that food samples were collected and sent to the laboratory to verify their safety and suitability for human consumption.
