Oman condemns Israeli airstrikes on Abu al-Duhur airport in Syria

Muscat, August 20 (KUNA) -- The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Oman’s condemnation and strong disapproval today, Thursday, of the Israeli air raids that targeted Abu al-Duhur military airport in Syria, deeming them a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter. In a statement, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Sultanate’s rejection of these attacks, citing their threat to the security and stability of the region, and called on the international community, particularly the Security Council, to fulfill its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to halt them and prevent their recurrence.
