Pakistan and Turkey Discuss Regional Developments

Islamabad, Aug 19 (KUNA) -- Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation on Wednesday to discuss recent regional developments and efforts aimed at enhancing peace and stability in the region. This was announced in a statement by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, which added that the Turkish Foreign Minister extended an invitation to the Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister to attend the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of the “Quadrilateral Group,” comprising Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, scheduled to be held in Istanbul later this month.
