UAE strongly condemns Iranian attack on Iraqi Kurdistan
Abu Dhabi, August 17 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the Iranian attack that targeted the office of Iraqi Kurdistan Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and the residence of the head of the Peshmerga Agency in Erbil, using two drones. In a statement on Monday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that this aggressive attack constitutes a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and poses a threat to their security and stability. The ministry expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government, reaffirming its support for all measures aimed at preserving their security and stability.
