Saudi Arabia and Sudan sign document establishing the Saudi-Sudanese Coordination Council

Riyadh, August 17 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohiuddin Ibrahim signed today, Monday, the document establishing the Saudi-Sudanese Coordination Council. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the signing, which took place in Riyadh, reflects both countries’ commitment to elevating the level of cooperation and coordination between them, with the Council serving as an effective institutional platform to develop and strengthen bilateral relations. It added that the Council constitutes an institutional framework bringing together relevant entities from both sides to achieve tangible outcomes through clear initiatives, projects, and targets, thereby enhancing cooperation and integration between Saudi Arabia and Sudan and fulfilling the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries.
