Saudi Foreign Minister Discusses Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments with His Yemeni Counterpart

Riyadh, Aug 16 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks today with Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Afrah al-Zoubi on bilateral relations and recent developments in the region. The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the discussions took place during Prince Faisal bin Farhan’s reception of the Yemeni minister at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, where he expressed his hope to continue joint efforts between the two countries in ways that serve their mutual interests and enhance stability in the region. The statement added that the meeting reaffirmed the Kingdom’s steadfast position in supporting the security and stability of the Republic of Yemen and its people, alongside discussions on a number of issues and topics of common interest.
