Deputy Minister for Security Services Affairs at the Ministry of Interior inspects the Service Centers Administration and the Border Security and Education and Training sectors
Kuwait City, Aug 16 (KUNA) -- Assistant Undersecretary for Supported Security Services at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Fawaz Al-Roumi, conducted an inspection tour covering the General Administration of Service Centers, the Border Security Sector, and the Education and Training Sector, to monitor operations, assess performance levels, readiness, and the services provided.
The Ministry of Interior said in a press statement on Sunday that Major General Al-Roumi, during his visit to the General Administration of Service Centers, reviewed the procedures for processing transactions and the services offered to visitors. He met with the administration’s leadership and officials, discussing ways to develop operations and enhance performance efficiency.
The statement added that Major General Al-Roumi visited several departments and facilities under the Border Security Sector at Kuwait International Airport, where he familiarized himself with the procedures in place, the level of readiness, training programs, mechanisms for improving the competence of personnel, and quality control measures.
During his visit to the Education and Training Sector, represented by the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy of Security Sciences, Major General Al-Roumi held a meeting with sector leadership. The meeting reviewed educational and training programs, as well as the registration and admission procedures for military courses. He also inspected several facilities and training classrooms to assess their equipment and readiness.
According to the statement, Major General Al-Roumi commended the efforts of personnel in the General Administration of Service Centers, the Border Security Sector, and the Education and Training Sector.
