Jeddah, August 13 (KUNA) -- Al-Ahli defeated their rivals Al-Diriyah 1-0 in the match held today, Thursday, as part of the first round of the Saudi Pro League (Roshn) for the 2026-2027 season. The match’s only goal, played at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, was scored by Al-Ahli’s player Spertsyan in the 25th minute. The victory secured Al-Ahli’s first three points in their league campaign at the start of the season, as the club aims to compete strongly following their title win in the AFC Champions League Elite last season.
