(Al Ahli) kicks off their campaign in the Saudi Pro League with a victory over (Al Diriyah) by a clean sheet Jeddah, August 13 (KUNA) -- Al Ahli defeated their counterparts Al Diriyah 1-0 in the match held today, Thursday, as part of the first round of the new 2026-2027 Saudi Pro League season. The match’s only goal, played at Al Ula Park in Riyadh, was scored by Al Ahli player Spertsyan in the 25th minute. Al Ahli’s victory secured the team’s first three points in their league journey at the start of the season, as they aim to compete after winning the Elite Asian Champions Cup title last season.
