Kuwait Public Authority for Public Works: Actual completion rate of infrastructure development works in the Qurtuba area reached 82 percent

Kuwait City, Aug 13 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works said that the actual completion rate for the infrastructure development contract in the Qurtuba area reached 82 percent as of Thursday. In a statement, the ministry noted that, following directives from Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Anwar Al-Balushi, Director General of the General Administration of Health Engineering Affairs, conducted a field visit to the aforementioned works. The contract, which began implementation on April 3, 2024, is set to last for three years. The ministry added that the completion rate for both the (sewage network) and (stormwater drainage network) works reached 97 percent, while the completion rate for the (telephone network) works was 99 percent and for the (street lighting network) it was 96 percent. It further stated that the completion rate for the asphalt layer laying works (Type 1) and (Type 2) reached 78.9 percent for both, while (Type 3) reached 15.2 percent. (End) M.S.A.
