(Agriculture Authority) Launches Subsidized Feed Disbursement Notification Service via the Sahel App

Kuwait City, August 13 (KUNA) – The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources announced the launch of a subsidized feed disbursement notification service through the government’s unified electronic services application, “Sahel,” as part of its strategy to accelerate digital transformation, enhance the efficiency of services provided to breeders, and strengthen the governance of procedures related to the support system.
Rasha Al-Dhafiri, head of the Project Execution and Follow-up Department at the Authority, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday that the launch of the service marks the beginning of a series of digital services currently under development and to be rolled out sequentially.
She added that this initiative aligns with a vision aimed at reengineering and simplifying procedures, enhancing transparency and oversight, and reducing manual interventions and paper-based processes, thereby ensuring that services and subsidies reach their rightful beneficiaries efficiently and accurately.
Al-Dhafiri emphasized that the Authority’s digital transformation goes beyond merely converting paper procedures into electronic ones; it aims to build a more efficient and well-governed system based on clear procedures, accurate data, traceability, and oversight. This approach strengthens the integrity of the support system, safeguards public funds, and elevates the quality of services provided to citizens.
She noted that the next phase will see a gradual expansion in the digitization of the Authority’s services and the electronic linking of its procedures, in line with directives from Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, Minister of State for Development and Sustainability. This will help shorten documentation cycles, improve performance efficiency, and provide more accurate data to support decision-making.
Al-Dhafiri confirmed that work will continue to develop services according to an institutional approach that positions digital transformation and governance as two fundamental pillars in the Authority’s operational development. (End) F.R. / A.M.H.
