Kuwait women's national team plays in the third day of the West Asia Beach Volleyball Championship

Beirut, August 12 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti women’s national team (B) played another match today, Wednesday, as part of the third day of the second round of the West Asian Championship, held in the city of Batroun in northern Lebanon. The squad, comprising players Dana Salama and Janan Al-Salem, faced their Qatari counterparts in an intense match that ended in a 2-0 victory for Qatar.
Earlier today, the Kuwaiti men’s national team (A) also lost to their Qatari rivals by the same scoreline. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti men’s team (B) failed to secure a win, suffering a 2-0 defeat against the host nation, Lebanon.
The second round of the West Asian Beach Volleyball Championship is taking place in Batroun, northern Lebanon, featuring prominent Arab national teams, including Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, and host Lebanon. The tournament holds significant importance for the development of the sport at the regional level and for qualifying participating teams for continental and international championships.
