Tunisia and Ukraine Foreign Ministers Discuss Enhancing Joint Cooperation

Tunis, Aug 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Expatriates, and Kuwaitis Abroad, Mohammed Al-Nafisi, held talks on Tuesday with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha, to enhance bilateral cooperation across all fields. The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the discussion took place during a telephone call between the two ministers, during which they reviewed various aspects of existing cooperation and ways to further develop it in the interest of shared objectives. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to boost trade exchanges and develop economic cooperation, particularly in the agricultural sector. They also underscored the significance of sustaining university-level cooperation, especially ensuring that Tunisian students can continue their studies at Ukrainian universities under the best possible conditions. The Tunisian minister expressed his country’s support for all international efforts aimed at ending the ongoing war in the region by upholding the principles of international legitimacy and the UN Charter, and by adopting political dialogue to achieve these objectives.
