Riyadh, August 11 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan held talks today on Tuesday regarding recent developments in the region and the support for diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the discussion took place during a phone call between Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Turkish counterpart. The statement added that the two sides discussed supporting diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions, ensuring the security of waterways in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea, as well as freedom of navigation in both areas, and contributing to the preservation of regional security and stability.
