Libyan-Turkish talks on unifying institutions in Libya and regional developments

Tunis, Aug 11 (KUNA) -- Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibah held talks today in Libya with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on ways to unify institutions, developments in the region, and the latest developments in the Libyan political file. The talks are part of Fidan’s official two-day visit to Libya, which includes the capital Tripoli and the city of Benghazi. The Libyan Government of National Unity said in a statement that the discussions addressed files of joint cooperation between Libya and Turkey and ways to develop it in several fields in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries. It clarified that the talks come within the framework of continuous consultation and coordination between the two countries on a number of files of mutual interest, where both sides discussed the latest developments in the Libyan political file and ways to support efforts aimed at unifying national institutions and enhancing stability.
