Kuwait Investment Company Reports Net Profit of 2.5 Million Dinars in the First Half of 2026

Kuwait City, Aug 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Investment Company announced on Tuesday that it achieved net profits of 5.2 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $16.8 million) in the first half of 2026, compared to 10.2 million dinars (approximately $33 million) during the same period in 2025.

In a press release, the company stated that operating revenues amounted to 17 million dinars (approximately $55 million), down from 22 million dinars (approximately $71.2 million) in the corresponding period of 2025.

It clarified that total assets rose to 335 million dinars (approximately $1 billion), while total equity attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached 136 million dinars (approximately $440 million), following dividend distributions of 9.9 million dinars (approximately $32 million). This reflects the company’s continued financial strength and its ability to maintain robust solvency and liquidity levels.

The company noted that despite ongoing challenges stemming from geopolitical developments and volatility in regional and global financial and investment markets, the positive performance in the second quarter helped shift the company’s results from a net loss in the first quarter to cumulative net profits by the end of the first half. This underscores its resilience in navigating economic changes.
