UN Deputy Spokesman Farhan Haq said in a press statement that the UN is monitoring developments in the aftermath of the quake, whose epicenter was in western Colombia near the departments of Choco and Valle del Cauca, and which was felt in wide areas, including Panama, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
