Trump: Instructed negotiators to demand compensation from Iran in any future talks

Washington, Aug 10 (KUNA) -- U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he has directed American negotiators to demand compensation from Iran as a “decisive” condition in any future negotiations with his country. Trump stated in a post on his Truth Social platform that the issue of the United States providing compensation to Iran for damages sustained during the five-month military conflict “has never been raised in any of our negotiations or meetings.” He added that he had instructed U.S. negotiators to similarly demand that Iran compensate all individuals killed or seriously injured by its explosives and its multiple conflicts over the past 50 years.
