Foreign Minister holds phone call with his UAE counterpart, condemning the despicable Iranian attack on an ADNOC tanker

Kuwait City, Aug 8 (KUNA) — Kuwait’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, held a telephone conversation today, Saturday, with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

In a press statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Sheikh Jaraah Jaber expressed Kuwait’s condemnation of the malicious Iranian attack targeting one of the tankers belonging to the UAE’s ADNOC company as it was transiting the Strait of Hormuz. He reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures undertaken by the UAE to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and interests. (End) N.M.A.
