Bahrain and Saudi Foreign Ministers Discuss Efforts to De-escalate and Enhance Regional Security and Stability

Manama, August 7 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani held a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, on Friday to discuss the latest regional developments and efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing regional security and stability. The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the two ministers exchanged views on coordination and joint consultation regarding the Gulf diplomatic initiative at the UN Security Council on issues of mutual interest. The call also covered the trajectory of the close, historic fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves shared interests and brings benefits to the two brotherly peoples.
