Presidents of the UAE and Russia Discuss Strategic Partnership and Regional Developments in Phone Call

Abu Dhabi, August 7 (KUNA) -- The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held discussions with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on various aspects of cooperation and joint efforts within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries, emphasizing their mutual commitment to further strengthening ties in a manner that serves their shared interests. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that this came during a telephone call on Friday, during which both sides reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern and exchanged views on them, foremost among which were developments in the Middle East region and efforts to enhance the foundations of stability, security, and peace at the regional level, in the interest of all the peoples and states of the region.
