Qatar condemns bombing targeting a passenger bus in the Syrian city of Jobar

Doha, Aug 7 (KUNA) -- Qatar expressed its condemnation and outrage on Friday over a bombing that targeted a passenger bus in the Syrian city of Jobar, which resulted in several injuries, and wished the victims a speedy recovery. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated in a statement Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or causes, and affirmed its full solidarity with the Syrian government in all measures it takes to preserve security and stability. Fourteen people were injured on Thursday evening when an explosive device planted in a passenger bus detonated in Jobar, on the outskirts of Damascus, according to the official Sana News Agency, citing the Syrian Ministry of Health.
