Turkish President Arrives in Jeddah

Jeddah, Aug 7 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that he was welcomed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah by Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region.
Earlier, the Turkish Anadolu Agency quoted Burhanuddin Duran, head of communications at the Turkish Presidency, in a post on the Turkish social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating that the Turkish president would carry out a one-day working visit to Saudi Arabia on Friday. He added that during the visit, Erdogan is scheduled to meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, as well as Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, who arrived in Jeddah on Thursday for a three-day visit to the kingdom.
