Trump: Things are going well to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons

Washington, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed on Thursday that matters are proceeding perfectly with regard to preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Trump stated in a post on his Truth Social platform: “Things are going perfectly in our efforts to completely prevent Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon.” He further expressed his great satisfaction with the work being carried out by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, noting that “everything is going exceptionally well,” and emphasizing that Hegseth “is highly respected within the military establishment and has achieved tremendous accomplishments.” (End) R.S.R. / H.S.S.
