12 armed terrorists killed in clashes with Pakistani forces in Balochistan province

Islamabad, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Twelve armed “terrorists” were killed during clashes with Pakistani forces in Balochistan province, located in southwestern Pakistan, on Thursday. The media office of the Pakistani military command said in a statement that Pakistani forces carried out surveillance and search operations based on intelligence information in the Washuk and Mastung districts of Balochistan province. It added that “our forces spotted an armed group of six terrorists, leading to armed clashes that resulted in the killing of all the terrorists without any losses among our forces.” It noted that Pakistani forces managed to discover “a hideout for an armed terrorist group in Mastung district, which sparked armed clashes that resulted in the deaths of six armed terrorists and the destruction of the hideout.” The statement emphasized that Pakistani forces are continuing their vigorous efforts to combat the threat of terrorism in the country until it is eradicated.
