Real Madrid announces signing of Ivorian winger Diomande until 2033

Madrid, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Spanish football club Real Madrid officially announced on Thursday the signing of young Ivorian winger Yankuba Deumé on a long-term contract extending for seven seasons until June 30, 2033. In a statement on its official website, the club said it had reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the player’s transfer following lengthy negotiations. The deal, reported by the local sports newspaper Marca, is valued at 125 million euros ($144.2 million), with the potential to rise to 140 million euros ($161.5 million) through add-ons and bonuses. The 19-year-old international, one of the most prominent emerging talents, drew widespread attention after the last World Cup, following a standout season with Leipzig in which he scored 13 goals and provided nine assists.
