National Investment Company Reports 12.3 Million KD Net Profit in Q2 2026

Kuwait City, May 8 (KUNA) -- National Investments Company announced on Wednesday that it achieved net profits of 12.3 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $40.5 million) in the second quarter of this year, representing an earnings per share of 15.4 fils.

In a press release, the company stated that total assets reached 353.6 million dinars (approximately $1.1 billion), while total shareholders’ equity amounted to 206.6 million dinars (approximately $681.7 million). Meanwhile, the value of assets under management stood at 1.3 billion dinars (approximately $4.2 billion) by the end of June.

The release quoted the company’s board chairman, Khaled Al-Fahad, as saying that National Investments had managed to adapt to an investment environment characterized by volatility and heightened caution in financial markets, achieving a gradual improvement in performance compared to the first quarter. This progress was supported by a reduction in some geopolitical pressures and improved activity in several markets.

For his part, board member and CEO Fahad Al-Makhzoum noted that the company executed transactions totaling more than $2.5 billion during the first half of the year. He added that the Institutions and Wealth sector continued to deliver strong results in the second quarter, with the value of assets under management at the company rising by 6.45 percent.
