British police arrest woman who stabbed four men in London

London, Aug 5 (KUNA) -- British police announced on Wednesday the arrest of a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of stabbing four men in the Covent Garden area in the heart of the UK capital, London. The Metropolitan Police said in a statement that the injured men, aged between 34 and 52, were taken to hospital following the incident, which occurred on Andel Street at 12:30 p.m. local time. The statement did not disclose further details about the incident. Earlier, the British government announced that knife-related crimes had generally declined by 11 percent under the Labour government, adding that knife-related murders had fallen by 26 percent, reaching their lowest level in 35 years.
