Kingdom of Bahrain Condemns Attack on Police Center in Pakistan
Manama, August 3 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strong condemnation and deep indignation at the “terrorist suicide attack” that targeted a police station in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of northern Pakistan, resulting in casualties and injuries. In a statement, the ministry conveyed Bahrain’s sincere condolences and sympathies to the Pakistani government and people, as well as to the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. It reaffirmed the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in its efforts to preserve security and stability and to combat terrorism and extremism. Pakistani authorities had announced on Sunday that 15 people were killed and 25 others were injured in varying degrees in a suicide attack targeting a police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northern Pakistan.
