GCC Secretary-General Emphasizes the Importance of Qualifying Talent to Support the Progress of Joint Gulf Cooperation

Riyadh, 3 Aug (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi affirmed on Monday the Secretariat’s commitment to developing and qualifying human resources in a manner that supports its operations and strengthens the trajectory of joint GCC cooperation. The Secretariat stated that this came during Al-Budaiwi’s reception at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh of a number of its staff members who had obtained master’s degrees in various fields after completing their studies under the scholarship program in the People’s Republic of China. Al-Budaiwi congratulated the staff members on their achievement of master’s degrees, commending the scientific efforts they had made that led to this accomplishment, and wishing them continued success and achievement in their professional careers. He expressed confidence that the academic knowledge and expertise acquired by the staff members would have a significant impact on supporting the General Secretariat’s work, contributing to the development of joint initiatives and programs, and enhancing the trajectory of joint GCC cooperation.
