Riyadh, Feb 8 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held discussions on Sunday with his Qatari and Jordanian counterparts on regional developments and the importance of supporting efforts and unifying positions aimed at de-escalation. The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that this took place during two separate phone calls received by Prince Faisal bin Farhan from Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi. The statement added that the calls discussed the importance of unifying positions and countering any actions that could undermine regional security, thereby ensuring the restoration of freedom of navigation in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea, and limiting the negative repercussions of the crisis.
