Amiri Decree Issued Appointing Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi as Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior

Kuwait City, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- An emiri decree was issued today, Sunday, appointing Major General Hamad Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Munifi to the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior. The text of the decree follows:

“Decree No. (123) of 2026 appointing an Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior

Having reviewed the Constitution,

And the emiri decree issued on 2 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1445 AH (corresponding to May 10, 2024),

And Law No. 23 of 1968 concerning the Police Force system, and its amendments,

And Legislative Decree No. 15 of 1979 concerning the Civil Service, and its amendments,

And the decree issued on 7 Jumada al-Awwal 1399 AH (corresponding to April 4, 1979) concerning the Civil Service system, and its amendments,

And based on the proposal submitted by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior,

And after approval by the Council of Ministers,

We have decreed as follows:

Article 1: Major General Hamad Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Munifi is appointed to the rank of Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Interior.

Article 2: The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior shall execute this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
