Gaza: 5 martyrs, including a child, in two Israeli airstrikes on two homes in the central and northern sectors

Gaza, Feb 8 (KUNA) -- Gaza health authorities announced at dawn on Sunday that five Palestinians, including a child, were martyred in two Israeli airstrikes on two homes in central and northern Gaza Strip. The health authorities said in a press statement that ambulance crews recovered the bodies of three Palestinians, including a child (a father, mother, and their child), after an Israeli strike targeted an apartment in western Gaza City. They added that this strike was preceded by another Israeli airstrike on a residential home in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom of a Palestinian man and his wife. Eyewitnesses told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the two Israeli airstrikes destroyed residential buildings and that the martyrs’ bodies were recovered with difficulty.
