The Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the repeated Iranian attacks on civilian and vital facilities in Kuwait

Manama, August 1 (KUNA) – The Kingdom of Bahrain today expressed its strong condemnation and deep outrage over the repeated, reprehensible Iranian attacks on civilian and vital facilities in the sister State of Kuwait, which constitute a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, security, and stability, a direct threat to the safety of civilians and residents on its territory, a serious breach of the rules of international law and the UN Charter, and a flagrant violation of Security Council Resolution 2817.
In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the competence and readiness of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, which today intercepted and destroyed several hostile drones. The statement reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with the sister State of Kuwait and its complete support for the deterrent measures it is taking to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity.
It stressed the urgent need for an immediate and comprehensive halt to the reprehensible and unjustified attacks carried out by Iran and its proxies against countries in the region, as well as to their threats to maritime navigation, in order to enhance regional and international security and stability.
