GCC Secretary-General Condemns Iran’s Blameworthy Attacks on Kuwait’s Bubiyan Island

Riyadh, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi expressed his strongest condemnation and denunciation of the reprehensible Iranian attacks that targeted a government facility and civilian vehicles belonging to a civilian company in Bubiyan Island, Kuwait. In a statement, Al-Budaiwi said that these reprehensible Iranian attacks are a continuation of their hostile policy aimed at undermining security and stability in the region, representing a blatant aggression and a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents, and a serious breach of the principles of international law and the UN Charter.
