Washington, July 31 (KUNA) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday ruled out Iran’s involvement in the cyberattacks that targeted water networks in Minnesota on Sunday and Monday. Speaking during a meeting of his cabinet at Camp David, Trump said, “Iran has bigger problems to worry about than Minnesota. I think Minnesota needs to get its act together.” He placed responsibility for the incident on the state’s leadership, stating, “They lack competence; Minnesota is one of the worst states in terms of management.”

Thirty water networks in Minnesota were subjected to cyberattacks on Sunday and Monday. According to U.S. media reports, the attacks bore “clear indicators” of involvement by a hacking group linked to Iran.
