Kuwait City, July 31 (KUNA) – The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced that the Armed Forces detected hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Friday and successfully engaged and destroyed them. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, Al-Atwan said that the malicious Iranian aggression targeted several vital and military installations. The hostile targets were engaged and destroyed, resulting in material damage due to falling debris, with no human casualties reported. He reaffirmed that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, under conditions of continuous readiness and constant preparedness, taking all necessary measures to protect the nation’s sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability, in coordination with the competent authorities, in order to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
