Presidents of the UAE and Syria discuss regional developments and bilateral relations in a phone call

Abu Dhabi, July 31 (KUNA) -- The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a telephone conversation today, Friday, with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa, discussing regional developments and issues of mutual interest, as well as fraternal relations and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides reviewed recent developments in the Middle East region and the efforts made to consolidate security, stability, and peace in the area, exchanging views on these matters. The agency added that both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continuing joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and broaden their scope in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries.
