Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns attack targeting a building in Kuwait

Ramallah, July 31 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned on Friday the attack targeting a building in the sister state of Kuwait, deeming it a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and an infringement on its territorial integrity, as well as a clear breach of the United Nations Charter and international law. In a press statement, the ministry affirmed that this attack constitutes a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability, directly undermines Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and poses a threat to the security and stability of the Gulf region. The ministry reiterated Palestine’s full solidarity with Kuwait, including its leadership, government, and people, and expressed its support for Kuwait in confronting these attacks and backing all legitimate measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents. Earlier, the official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced that the reprehensible Iranian aggression targeted a building belonging to one of the Chinese companies in northern Kuwait, resulting in the death of one worker and causing severe material damage to the structure.
