Conclusion of the U18 Basketball Asia Cup Qualifiers in Doha

Doha, July 30 (KUNA) -- The Gulf qualifiers for the FIBA Asia Under-18 Basketball Championship concluded today at the Al Gharafa Sports Hall in Qatar. Bahrain defeated host nation Qatar 77-44, moving their tally to eight points from four victories to claim first place, while Qatar finished second. Both teams have secured qualification for the Asia Cup, scheduled to be held in India next month. The tournament, which began on July 25, featured five teams: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
