Saudi Crown Prince Discusses Regional and International Developments in Phone Call with Syrian President

Jeddah, July 30 (KUNA) -- Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held talks today, Thursday, with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on regional and international developments and the efforts underway to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that this came during a phone call received by the Saudi Crown Prince from the Syrian President. At the outset of the call, the Syrian President reiterated his country’s condemnation and rejection of attempts by Iran-backed militias in Iraq to target petroleum facilities in the Kingdom, affirming Syria’s steadfast support for the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia.
