GCC Secretary-General strongly condemns drone attack on Egypt's Damietta Port
Riyadh, 30 July (KUNA) -- The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and outrage today, Thursday, over the drone attack that targeted the port of Damietta in the sister Arab Republic of Egypt. In a statement, Al-Budaiwi said that these acts and terrorist attacks aim to destabilize security and stability in the region, reaffirming the GCC states’ solidarity with the sister Arab Republic of Egypt and their support for all measures it takes to protect its territory and safeguard its security and interests.
