Representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Kuwait's Ambassador to Brazil, Participates in the Inauguration Ceremony of the President of Peru

New York, July 30 (KUNA) – His Excellency Ambassador Talal Al-Mansour, Kuwait’s Ambassador to Brazil, representing His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, attended the inauguration ceremony and swearing-in of the President of the Republic of Peru, Keiko Fujimori.
In a statement, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Brazil said that Ambassador Al-Mansour conveyed His Highness the Amir’s congratulations to President Fujimori, along with best wishes for her good health and well-being, and for the friendly Republic of Peru to continue its progress and prosperity. He also conveyed greetings from His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and from His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister.
Ambassador Al-Mansour expressed Kuwait’s aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations and mutual cooperation with the Republic of Peru in various fields, in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly countries.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Tuesday at the Peruvian Parliament building, attended by a number of heads of state and government, senior officials, and representatives of diplomatic missions. President Fujimori received congratulatory visitors at the Presidential Palace in a formal atmosphere that reflected the significance of the occasion at both the national and international levels.
